🛒 Orders & Account
How do I place an order on Madina Maktab? +

Placing an order is simple:

  • Browse our store and add books to your cart
  • Go to checkout and enter your delivery address
  • Choose your payment method (Card, UPI, Net Banking or Wallet)
  • Complete payment and your order is confirmed!

You will receive an order confirmation email/SMS after successful payment.

Is there a minimum order value? +

Yes. The minimum order value is ₹100. Orders below ₹100 will not be processed.

Can I cancel my order after placing it? +

You can request order cancellation before the order is dispatched. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.

⚠️ If the order is already packed or dispatched, cancellation is not possible. Please place your order carefully.
Do I need to create an account to order? +

No, you can checkout as a guest. However, we recommend creating an account to:

  • Track your orders easily
  • Save your delivery address for future orders
  • Access your order history
  • Use Madina Maktab Wallet balance
How do I track my order? +

Once your order is dispatched, we will share the tracking number via WhatsApp and/or email. You can then track your order on the courier’s website.

What payment methods do you accept? +
Accepted Methods:

❌ Cash on Delivery (COD) is NOT available. All orders require online payment.
Is online payment safe on Madina Maktab? +

Yes, completely safe! We use 256-bit SSL encryption and process all payments through Razorpay and CCAvenue — India’s most trusted payment gateways. All card transactions are protected by 3D Secure OTP verification.

Are there any hidden charges? +

No hidden charges! The price you see is what you pay. Shipping charges are shown clearly at checkout before payment. Religious books are exempt from GST under Indian law — so no tax is added.

What is the Madina Maktab Wallet? +

The Madina Maktab Wallet is a digital wallet where you can store credit and use it for future purchases. Wallet balance is added in these cases:

  • Refund for unavailable items in a large order
  • Refund for small value items like risale (₹10–15) that are out of stock
  • On mutual agreement for returns

Wallet balance never expires and can be used at checkout. It cannot be withdrawn as cash.

My payment failed but amount was deducted. What to do? +

If your payment failed but amount was deducted from your account, it will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days by your bank.

How long does delivery take? +
📍 Within Maharashtra: 3–4 working days
🇮🇳 Rest of India: 5–6 working days
🏔️ Remote/Rural areas: 1–2 weeks via India Post

Working days are Monday to Saturday. Orders placed on Sunday or public holidays are processed the next business day.

What are the shipping charges? +

Shipping is charged based on the total weight of your order. For detailed rates see our Shipping Policy page →

Tip: Order more books together to get better value on shipping!

Do you ship internationally / outside India? +

Yes! We offer worldwide shipping to most countries. International orders are processed manually via WhatsApp.

Contact us on WhatsApp with your order and address — we will calculate shipping and confirm the total before you pay.

Will all my books come in one parcel? +

We try to send all books in one parcel. However, for large orders where books come from multiple locations, they may be dispatched in separate parcels. You are still charged shipping based on the total combined weight of your order — no extra shipping charges.

I received a damaged or wrong book. What to do? +

We apologize for the inconvenience! Please contact us within 10 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged/wrong item

We will arrange a replacement or refund as per our Refund Policy.

A book shows “Out of Stock” — will it come back? +

Most out of stock books are restocked regularly. Use the “Notify Me” button on the product page to get an alert when it is back in stock.

Are your books original / authentic? +

Yes! All books sold on Madina Maktab are 100% original publications from Maktaba-tul-Madina (Dawat-e-Islami). We do not sell any pirated or unauthorized copies.

One book in my order was not available. What happens? +

If one or more books in your order are unavailable:

  • We will contact you via WhatsApp/phone to inform you
  • The remaining available books will be dispatched
  • The amount for unavailable book(s) will be refunded to your Madina Maktab Wallet or original payment method

For small value items like risale, the amount is credited to your wallet for future use.

🔄 Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy? +

We accept returns within 10 days of delivery for items that are unused, in original condition and original packaging.

How long does a refund take? +
  • Wallet refund: Within 24–48 hours
  • Original payment method refund: 5–7 business days after approval
  • Failed payment refund: 5–7 business days by bank automatically
